The Vent Plug is installed in the discharge piping near a WHDR or Rangg Guard cylinder to prevent pressure build up in the system piping, caused by heat, from rupturing the foil seals on the nozzles. The Vent Plug has a ½-inch NPT male thread, and must be installed in an upright or horizontal position, one per pipe network.
