WATER-JEL® FIRE BLANKETS & WRAPS are one-step systems for emergency first aid on a burn victim. They put out the fire, stop burn progression and cool the skin, relieve pain and protect the burn area from contamination. They consist of a scientifically formulated cooling gel and a special carrier. The 100% worsted wool material is soaked in a water-based/water-soluble, bacteriostatic and biodegradable gel. Can be placed directly over clothing and won’t stick to burn injuries. They can be used to extinguish flames and smoldering clothes or dangerous white phosphorous. Available in foil pouch or easily identifiable plastic container with handle for convenient transport.
